Friends or Studying

If my friend arrived at my door and asked me to go out while I am studying a test, I will probably go out but tell them that only for a little while; because I have to study the test. It really depends who the person is, if it is just a person I get along with well, probably not; but over my really close friends, I totally would go out instead of taking my time to study a test. For my education, I will try my hardest not to go hang out with a friend during my studying. Lately, I have been only going outside on weekends because of my school work. I have a busy; tight schedule. I go to school, then I have my job, Volleyball practice, and last but not least is my education/homework.

Paralyzed By Fear

I was on pass and there was a big party at my brother`s friend`s house. I got a phone call while I was babysitting my nieces and it was my brother. He told me he got in a huge fight with his friend and walked out the party and asked me if I could pick him up; obviously people were drinking. Where I had to pick him up was not that far away from home, so I did. I left the kids with my cousin, and he is fourth teen by the way. I got to the street where I found him he was laying in the grass and I asked him what was wrong, he did not know (he was drinking). When I finally got him to get in the car, there was a car crash not that far away from us and it was about 20 ft away. I was terrified, I saw the car slide on its side for a while, I realized than it was a green car and I was just hoping it was not our family`s close friend. It turn out to be him(he is the friend who just fought wt my brother), the ambulance rushed to him and the side of his face pretty much ripped of and his side arm was horrible, all you would see is bone. I cried and my brother told me to drive him to the hospital, My older sister said I can`t drive on the freeway. So my cousins took us into their car an we went to the hospital. I am blessed to still have him here, we don`t want to lose a second close cousin.

Tv Show

I did not watch a tv show or wither a movie for the past weeks, literlly. So, the last thing I remember watching was The Bachelorette with Roberto and Ali. It was at a part where they were in Vienna. The beach was beautiful and they had a nice place to stay at there were bridges and lots of romance.

Free Write Blog Post

The first time I played Softball, was the second time I fell in love; just kidding. The other sports I played could not compare to Softball, even if I played other sports for as long as I can remember. My coaches are big inspirations to me, I remember when I tried out I thought I would not make it in the team. I was wrong, because of my strong arm and how fast I could run; saved me. Now, more than any sports in the world, I have to say I love Softball. I always thought Baseball/Softball was super boring, until I watched it on television and played it made me see it like the best entertainment in my life time.

Today I went to work at 3:15 P.M. and got off at 4:55 P.M. to go to practice. The volleyball coaches were there and we knew today was going to be a long practice. I wasn`t all excited anymore because I was already tired from the running. Plus, P.E. made me even more tired because the nonstop exercise we did. The practice went on from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. I was so exhausted and Hungary. All the drills we did today made my legs so sore, I felt like I was a noodle; but yet it was worth it. Luckily I didn`t have a lot of homework when I got home. I went straight to washing my hands and eating; a lot. I felt so bloated it made me look pregnant.

My Memorable Birthday, That I Only Remember Well To Tell

January 4, 2002, I was turning 7 years old. My parents went all out and bought a lot of drinks and food, it was a bit of a waste to me. A lady came to my house and my mom had her dress me up in one of the traditional dresses. The lady did my hair and put a lot of heavy clips, I felt like I was going to fall over. It was a huge party and very traditional, since everyone who live in my apartment were all my relatives, it was even more huge. I was nervous and my dad told me I had to be respectful and show off as much as I can. I started to cry and he smacked me in the face and he said “you are a Khmer srey”, which pretty much means a Cambodian girl. I had to stand in front of the door and greet the people traditionally while they walked in. They gave me red envelopes, full of money and I had to hand it to my parents. Later, I had to dance in Cambodian and also sing. When the night finally ended I was so exhausted I wanted to sleep, I remember my dad counting the money and it came out to be a lot! I could not touch it, but I could only have five dollars from my dad and he took the rest to gamble. He said, “I was too young to have it, and I was too young to know ho much it was”. My mother was angry at him and said that I needed the money for college. My memorable birthday is not a happy one, but I only remember this birthday clearly.
