My Educational Experiences

When the world says, "Give up,"
Hope whispers, "Try it one more time."
Due to my educational experiences, I feel like I am  currently struggling in Math, and also in History. I have good grades right now, but I don’t feel like I can ever do it without help. Because missing a lot of school during fifth grade and sixth grade, I feel like I did not learn anything. It is also my fault for ditching school, but I have my own reasons. While going into seventh and eight grade, I had the worst grades. I did not know how to do a lot of things that other people have already knew and learned. I feel like during fifth grade and sixth is where you learn most of the things you start doing in seventh grade to high school. Even though I got in the system around that time, I remember not learning anything, there was no teaching. I remember how much I was struggling with school, because I did not know most of the things the teachers were teaching and saying. Eventually, when seventh grade started; I asked for tutors. Until around going into high school in the ninth grade, I knew I was doing bad so I tried to help myself by getting a few tutors every now and then. It actually helped me a lot for the upcoming things that we have been doing in school. Also, being at a school like San Pasqual Academy; I am actually learning. What I currently do now to keep me to be successful in school is checking my grades frequently, trying to get all my homework and classwork done. I also now, study for my tests.

I recently applied for Hot Topic and Fashion 5. I am super excited for either jobs if I do get hired. Especially Hot Topic, because I would want to dress up as if I really shopped there. It just sounds so fun to work there. Plus, I would most likely spend my first pay check there :) About Fashion 5, I don't really care to work there. I just really wanted a job at first, I didn't care what job I can get. Plus, I have never shopped at Fashion 5. I think if I did start working there, I would probably start shopping for my clothes there. I find it to fancy, plus I don't like dressing up into something I don't feel comfortable in.

Playwrights Project Play Completion Reflection

Now that my play is complete, I feel relieved. Like there’s nothing weighing on my shoulder anymore. I feel so good that I actually want to go outside at night, when 7:30 comes along. I remember struggling with writing my play because I had no idea what to write. I even cried because nothing came to my mind when Ms. Priester told us that we had to write a play. I was so frustrated! Even though I was working on different scenes than other people were, at least I turned it in on time. I am still a little upset that I did not get to proofread it myself, because I was rushing. I did not even get an adult to proofread my playwrights. Although, I did not get it corrected/proofread..I still believe I did really great on my play. Next week, watching the plays be performed by actors are going to be very exciting. At the same time I feel like I would be embarrassed by all my grammar and errors I had made that weren’t able to be fix at the time.

I spent my weekend with my family. My 3 sisters and brother in law and I went hiking at Mission Valley. It was the longest hike I ever been to. I was so tired, we are all planning to do it every Sunday. I also got more tan lines on my body because I was wearing a sportsbra and shorts. I also saw my cousins there, they were already walking down from the hike. We were barely walking up. Next weekend, is Michael's birthday and it is his first birthday. I am super excited for him, the whole family is going to be there and friends. I might be able to see family members who I have not seen in years. So that's also exciting, I had a great weekend.

Field Trip

I went on a field trip with Beedle’s class to look at our school’s art at the County of Education. Everyone took pictures, ammired the artworks. It was cool to see how much talent our classmates have. After, we went to the Museum of Contemporary Art. It was my favorite part of the trip, the art were amazing and very interesting. My favorite art piece was the Donkey, they had a real donkey sitting in he middle of the room. Lastly, we went to the La Jolla beach and ate lunch. We saw Seagulls, Seals, different kind of birds. It was a chill day, I would do it again.
